  • Weekly Bible Reading

This year we are sharing a reading plan from the website www.Bible-Reading.com.  It is a plan developed by the author of that website, Michael Coley.  You can print the entire reading plan from his website.  This plan will enable you to read the Bible in one year, but you are reading from a different type of Biblical writings each day.  Sunday from the Epistles, Monday from the Law (the first five books of the Bible), Tuesday from the Old Testament historical books, Wednesday from the Psalms, Thursday from the poetical writings, Friday from Prophecy and Saturday from the New Testament gospels and Acts.  Thank you for reading God’s Word in 2017!

    Sunday, January 15 — Romans 5-6

    Monday, January 16 — Genesis 8-11

    Tuesday, January 17 — Joshua 11-15

    Wednesday, January 18 — Psalms 6-8

    Thursday, January 19 — Job 5-6

    Friday, January 20 — Isaiah 12-17

    Saturday, January 21 — Matthew 5-7

  • Service Schedule Changes

We have changed our service times!  Beginning January 1, 2017 we have moved our service times on Sunday one hour earlier.  Our sunday morning coffee and fellowship time now begins at 8:15 a.m.  Come anytime between about 8:15 and 8:30 and join us for a few minutes before we move to our Bible study classes for all ages.  At 8:45 a.m. we have small group Bible study through our Sunday School program, with classes for Preschoolers through adults.  Then, at 10 a.m. we move to join all ages together for a time of worship as we sing praises to god and open His word together as one body to adore and glorify God.  We will conclude our formal worship service and have plenty of time to visit as we leave, and still allow our sister congregation, Semilla de Mostaza, to enter the church auditorium to begin their Spanish language worship service at noon.

If you are in the El Paso area and are not currently worshipping on a regular basis with others as a body, you are encouraged to come and worship in either English with Skyline Baptist beginning at 10:00 a.m., or in Spanish with Semilla de Mostaza at noon.  Please join us as we seek to love God, love others and serve our community and the world together.
