Service Schedule Update

Due to low attendance Sunday evenings, beginning in April 2015 we will discontinue our evening services except for special events such as movies, concerts, mission emphases and other special occassions.  Please be sure and join us at 7:00 p.m. April 3 for our Good Friday Service.  Our Sunday morning service schedule and Wednesday evening activities will remain unchanged.  Please come and join us as we seek to worship and serve our Lord together in Northeast El Paso.

Community Bible Experience

Skyline Baptist Church is reading the New Testament in a new way!  Beginning the first week of February, we will begin reading the New Testament for the next 8 weeks.  Biblica (formerly the International Bible Society) has produced a Bible that is unique, entitled The Books of the Bible.  In this special edition the books of the BIble have been especially arranged to present the Bible account in a coherent, flowing style.  Chapter and verse numbers have been removed to enable the reader to simply enjoy the biblical text as it was originally written.  Readers will read about 20 minutes a day, five days a week, and will then gather into small discussion groups much like a book club to discuss what they have read.  It is not a formal Bible study as we typically think, but rather an opportunity to reflect together on what the Bible itself says and discuss any issues or questions that the readers may have.  It is an exciting way to let the Bible impact us where we live.  Come and join with us!  The New Testament edition of The Books of the Bible will be distributed right after our morning worship service on February 1.  For more information, please go to www.CommunityBibleExperience.com

Spanish Language Services

Mustard Seed - the Spanish speaking congregation that meets at Skyline - continues to grow and develop.  What an exciting time to see God move in ministering to people in more than one language at one location.  If you desire services in either English or Spanish, there is a place for you in Northeast El Paso!  Our English and Spanish Bible Study during Sunday School run concurrently at 9:45 a.m. as do the worship services in both languages at 11:00 a.m.  Come and be a part of what God is doing!
